The purpose of writing to me comes from many different backgrounds. Writing to me means expressing your inner self within words. Without expressing yourself it creates a sort of illiterate downfall. History has been written and expressed by generation and generations of people on this earth. We recognize the people who can show themselves to others in words, people such as Shakespear and Edgar Allen Poe. These people were historic poets and wiriters whos writings have been still being read for decade after decade. Without writing their would be no literature and entertainment.

This past weekend my friends and I traveled to JayPeak, Vermount, for a snowboarding trip. We went up there because it had the best snow on the east coast. We drove up in my SUV, and we were pulled over for my first time, by a cop in New Jersey. He clamied to of not been able to see my license plate. When we arrived after a 12 hour drive, we quickly noticed that the tempurture at the base of the mountain dropped incredibly at our condo, it was -9 outside. The next two days we had the best snow of the year. We took the tram to the top of the mountain, where it was -30 at the peak during the day. One of my friends let us use his helmet cam to capture these moments, and we also had a professional photograher take pictures of us going off jumps.This mountain was 5,000 ft in elevation. It was a great expience!This is half way up the mountain....

So last night our High School Varsity Basketball team played in the first round of play-offs. We played a more well known school, which was way more popular, and to top it off the game was on their home turf. The game was absolutley crazy, the student section for my school was being extermely rowdy. They were screaming at the other team "YOU SUCK!", and things of that nature.There was also a famous football player attending the game as well, it was the Philidelphia Eagles running back Sean McCoy. After the first half the score was 26-34. Once the teams came back out about 6 min is the 3rd quarter, the home team got the ball and threw it to their center for a dunk. When this player dunked it, he dunked it hard. He bent the rim all the way down and the entire backboard shattered everywhere. The very next morning ESPN had that play for play of the week as there #1 spot, also famous rapper Lil wayne was tweeting about the player.
